Genetically modified organisms, their control and monitoring

In the organization of National Institute of Biology and Slovenian Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP), 26th of November, a workshop “Genetically modified organisms, their control and monitoring” was organized. The workshop was dedicated to new information on genetically modified organisms GMOs), theirs legislation and detection. Dr. Martin Batič (MESP) and dr. Boštjan Petelinc (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, MAFF) presented current EU regulations on GMOs from Slovenian perspective.
